DYNAMIC PILATES BY ELAINE KOEBER | CITTA COLLECTIVE

Elaine is the founder of citta collective. Being the host, creator and Pilates teacher of our events, she connects the puzzle pieces of over 12 years in Pilates, Physiotherapy, Personal training and managing events around wellness and health.

In her unique classes she cultivates a Pilates experience that allows tuning into our bodies, uncovering and balancing out muscle imbalances, replenishing body awareness and accessing areas that need extra nurture through movement and the renowned deep burn.

Our day retreat will be opened with a dynamic Pilates session, focusing on the female body and its needs. Influenced by times of pregnancy, birth or hormonal changes, our temples transition into new versions with new surprises regularly, When we know how to respond and welcome new versions we feel more home in our own skin. In this class we explore how to access and really strengthen the deep core, including abdominals and pelvic floor for the support and confidence we are seeking every day. We target areas that we all love to be stronger in and pick our top effective home exercises for glutes, legs, core and arms. Experience improved alignment, posture, stability, mobility and deep strength.

All exercises in our classes can be tailored and modified to experience level, pregnancy, injuries and health limitations.

With each asana, we will honour the shift from darkness to light, embracing the vitality and clarity that spring brings. This elevated practice is a harmonious blend of movement and breath, with Nele welcoming us to release old patterns, awaken our zest and connect with a state of graceful equilibrium.

Nele merges her passion for holistic health, nature and conscious living in her day to day as well as on the mat. In her teaching she entices us to a balance of being playful and creative, yet grounding and mindful.

Indulge into a Japanese spring inspired lunch buffet and experience how Yui merges seasonal, whole foods and produce with the knowledge of yin and yang to bring balance and longevity to our bodies, harmony to our minds, and gratitude to our souls.

A refreshing vegetarian array of rice paper rolls, sushi, salads, grazing platters, homemade herbal teas and healthy treats, all using organic ingredients and drawing wisdom from Yui’s Japanese culture and studies of Macrobiotics, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda.

FACE SCULPT AND DETOX RITUALS BY SARA WELLS | KONDŌU


A deeply relaxing blend of learnings and self practice lead by Sara, the owner of Kondōu - a holistic wellness studio that specialises in facial sculpting and lymphatic drainage. Sara has a deep connection to the Japanese concepts of living healthy, purposeful and sustainable. Throughout her cultural studies, industry practices and learnings within a Japanese skin care company, she evolved into a renowned facialist and nutritional skin expert, combining her internal and external expertise into balanced unison in the work she does.Ō

In this session we experience the fundamental techniques of lymphatic drainage and facial release techniques on our own bodies and discover how to implement morning and evening rituals at home, to see and feel a deep detoxification.

By working with the fluids of the body in a rhythmic and intentional way, we create an environment that opens the channels for the internal fluid to filtrate and excrete, then allowing blood flow and circulation to regenerate and support vitality, energy and glow from within.

We incorporate facial massage using the best tools we have - our hands - and explore the ancient tool Gua Sha to enhance and assist the relief of stress related tension in face and neck, achieve a healthier looking complexion, by de-puffing, defining and aligning facial posture.

In this talk, we delve into the science of hormonal shifts within the menstrual cycle and the profound influence on our energy levels, mood, and performance. By cultivating a deeper understanding of these cyclical patterns, we gain the tools to adjust our training, the expectations we have and the outcomes. With the intention to foster a new understanding of our wellbeing, we are tapping into maximising our potential during peak phases and embracing rest when needed.

Together, we explore how to acknowledge our female bodies and meet its natural rhythms with kindness, compassion and alignment.

With an exploration of the intricate connection between holistic well-being, libido and sexual health, we invite you into a safe and supportive space to listen, learn and ask. Our approach is rooted in naturopathy, offering tools and practices that not only enhance sexual vitality, but also nurture confidence and a deeper connection with our bodies.

Lisa is home in naturopathy and Womens Health, with a deep desire to help women with their hormonal health as well as auto-immune conditions. She is also an academic lecturer and clinical supervisor at Torrens University and is currently completing her Masters of Sexology.

Through a blend of natural remedies, mindful techniques, and empowering discussions, Lisa aims to create an environment where we can explore sophisticated topics with openness, trust and respect.

THE BALMAIN ROWING CLUB BOATHOUSE

Quietly tucked away on the Peninsula of Balmain, this private boat house with an in and outdoor space is bathing in the shimmering reflection of the sun in the surrounding water. With uninterrupted views and a refreshing breeze from the harbour it gives a feeling of a holiday house. A direct path invites to stroll at lunch time into the calming adjacent park and lay down in the grass to listen to the sounds of the water and birds.
